Exporting items to PDF
Exporting items in your Workspace to a PDF reference list is a convenient way to share text and image content. For example, PDF reference lists might be used for printing or to upload to a learning management system.
Exported PDF reference lists include the following:
- Your folder's title and description
- A hyperlinked title and thumbnail for each item that when clicked, opens directly to that content on JSTOR
- Links for image detail views will automatically zoom the image viewer to the saved view.
- Tombstone metadata for each item (date, creator, and linked collection/book/journal)
To export a folder to PDF:
- Visit your Workspace folder and open the Export drop-down menu.
- Items inside subfolders within the exported folder won't be included in the PDF. You can use these same steps to export additional folders separately.
- Select Reference List to PDF. A progress bar will indicate that the download is processing. Completion time will vary depending on the size of the folder you're exporting.
- Depending on your browser's settings, the finished PDF file (.pdf) will either open in your browser where it can be downloaded, or it will be found in your downloads folder.
