JSTOR partners with discovery service providers such as EBSCO to ensure that content is findable and relevant. For libraries and institutions that use EBSCO's services, the following resources are available to make the most of your access.
EBSCO Discovery Service (EDS)
EBSCO offers the following quick guide to help libraries configure their EDS to most effectively leverage their investment in content on the JSTOR platform. The appropriate configuration of an EDS is an important determinant in the discoverability of the content your library licenses from JSTOR.

Activating JSTOR Archival Journal & Primary Sources Collection
In order to activate or configure the JSTOR Archival Journal & Primary Sources Collection, please search for and activate JSTOR Archival Journal and Primary Sources Collection in your discovery service admin interface.
Please note that JSTOR primary source collections (this includes Struggles for Freedom: Southern Africa, World Heritage Sites: Africa, and Global Plants) are not currently available in EDS for libraries to activate. However, freely-accessible primary source content from JSTOR Shared Collections is discoverable through EDS.
Activating JSTOR Shared Collections
In order to activate JSTOR Shared Collections, please search for and activate JSTOR Shared Collections in your discovery service admin interface.
If you're unable to locate this collection, please contact your discovery service provider for additional assistance.
Activating Artstor on JSTOR collections
The Artstor website was retired on August 1, 2024. If you previously enabled Artstor in EDS, the Artstor on JSTOR licensed collections have been activated for you and no further action is required.
If you haven't previously enabled Artstor in EDS, please search for and activate Artstor on JSTOR (For US-based institutions) or Artstor on JSTOR (For institutions outside of the US) in your discovery service admin interface.
Full Text Finder
EBSCO offers the following quick guide to help libraries configure Full Text Finder to most effectively leverage JSTOR content. EBSCO’s Full Text Finder features link resolver software that uses OpenURL data to provide context-sensitive item-level linking among the various online resources in a library collection.
