Can you print JSTOR content?
You can print JSTOR articles, chapters, files, etc. after downloading the PDF file of the title. Printing is not yet available directly from the article preview.
Note: Can't download the PDF of the article you want? You may not yet have downloading access. Log in to your school's account, your JPASS account, or find Open Access content to be able to download files.
How to print your downloaded article
To download and print an article PDF, take the following steps:
- View the web-page that has the article you want to print. (For example, use the web-page for the Open-Access article "The Organization of Ideas" by Frederick Ilchman).
- Click the "Download PDF" button that appears to the top right of the article
- Open the file using your machine's file management system. (It will likely appear in your "downloads" folder, or similar, unless your system has been configured differently).
- Print the file directly from your PDF viewer by clicking Ctrl + P on a PC or Command-P on a Mac.
Note: For printing errors, JSTOR Support's ability to troubleshoot is very limited if the digital file looks normal on your computer, but has been corrupted in the printing process. Contact your system administrator or the printer's manufacturer for printing help.
