Which browsers are compatible with JSTOR?

To have the best possible experience using JSTOR, you will need to make sure that your browser is updated. If there is a problem with JSTOR and you're using a browser not included in the above list, we will ask you to test the site again in one of the above browsers. We may ask you to update the browser to the most recent version. If you're not sure which browser and/or version you are using you can visit WhatsMyBrowser.org for help. As of May 2021, IE 11 is no longer supported.
You can always find out what version you should be using by visiting the information pages for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. Browsers generally update automatically when connected to the internet but you can manually update as well. Check the websites of the respective browsers above for further instructions on how to update your browsers.
If you are using an out-of-date operating system you may be prevented from updating to a more recent browser version. If you are experiencing this, you will need to update your operating system prior to updating your browser.
