Single article or issue purchases:
All single article or issue purchases are considered final. We do not offer exchanges or refunds. However, please contact us if you have any questions or concerns regarding your purchase.
Double-check your content before purchase. Before committing to your individual article or issue purchase, please note that the content is what you are expecting. For example, book reviews will explicitly state "Review" in the search results and on the article page. This is because JSTOR platform contains book reviews as well as full-length articles. Reviews generally do not contain the original content of the works they review, even when the title or author names may be present.
JPASS access plan purchases:
The 1-year JPASS subscription is refundable within two weeks of plan purchase if no more than 10 downloads have been used during that time.
Contact JSTOR Support with the following information to let us know you would like to request a refund:
- Your name and preferred contact information
- The PayPal Transaction ID and/or the individual account connected to your JPASS purchase
- The reason for your refund request
Upon receipt, support will review your request to verify that the terms of the policy are met and if so, issue a full refund in the original form of payment. Note that refund requests received more than 14 days following purchase will not be eligible.
