Does JSTOR have a search widget?
JSTOR does have an experimental search widget or embedded search box. What does "experimental" mean? It means that when we retired our previous Search Widget (note that widgets.jstor.org is no longer available), we created a test solution to replace the old Search Widget.
JSTOR is happy to share with your library the widget code, but our support team and developers are not able to help enhance, adjust, or troubleshoot the widget.
JSTOR Widget Code
The Search Widget PDF includes the code needed to implement the JSTOR Search Widget. Please note that while we welcome any feedback you have about the widget, we do not support it on a technical level nor can we easily answer questions if it doesn't work.
Widget Terms and Conditions of Use
Please be sure to read the legal text regarding usage of the JSTOR Search Box, which is embedded in the code. Your use of the JSTOR Search Widget indicates your acceptance of JSTOR's Terms and Conditions of Use. In particular, please be aware of Sections 9 and 11.1 of our Terms and Conditions of Service, as these pertain to Access Software.
